Puff Pastry Swirls


  • 250g puff pastry
  • Jar of pesto
  • 10 torn basil leaves
  • 100g grated cheese (cheddar/mozzarella mix)
  • Top with finely chopped sundried tomatoes


  1. Roll the pastry out until it is about 5mm thick.
  2. Spread the pesto all over the pastry to form a nice thick layer.
  3. Sprinkle the cheese all over the pesto.
  4. Add sundried tomatoes finely chopped!
  5. Roll this up like a Swiss-roll.
  6. Cut the roll into slices (about 5cm wide).
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
